Once upon a time, not so very long ago (last month) I was given the opportunity to partner with two wonderful ladies, an Origami Owl Independent Designer Mother/Daughter team and was able to work with them on a review+giveaway.

Although Origami Owl has made quite a splash with their entry into the world of Jewelry some of you may be wondering what Origami Owl is. To sum it up Origami Owl is by far one of the most unique and creative Jewelry companies on the market today; their lockets are 100% custom created..by YOU, right down to the so, so cute charms nestled within the locket face.

Origami Owl was founded by, then, 14yr entrepreneur Bella Weems, who is now 16; it started with a dream, to save up enough money to buy a car for her 16th Birthday and turned into a sea of success!

"I have always believed that you can do anything you set your mind to. With a focus in sight, I spent hours hosting jewelry parties instead of hanging out with friends. I wasn't going to let anything keep me from making my dream a reality. And I did, in the form of a white Jeep I call Alice!"

The lovely ladies of the independent Designer team, Jacqueline Woods and Rachel Thompson, credited me $50 to use in their Origami Owl shop and the process of creating my own Origami Owl Living Locket began!

Step 1: Select the CHARMS that tell your story or represent things you love
I chose the May and March Birth stones to represent my two Daughter Sophia and Desmond. Jacqueline and Rachel were also surpremely thoughtful and added in a 'Family' charm as well!
Step 2: Choose a LOCKET

I went with the Large Silver Locket. I am after-all just a simple country girl. 

Step 3: Choose a CHAIN

I chose the 16-18" Silver Ball Stationary Chain as I do like a little bit of extra length in my chains. 

Step 4: Add a hand-stamped metal PLATE

While I didn't originally pick out a plate the so, so sweet ladies at the Jacqueline Woods Independent Designer shop included a beautiful "Always" hand-stamped metal plate. 


Step 5: Add a DANGLE
There were so many cute Dangles to choose from and in the end I decided to go with the Guardian Angel Wing.
The end result? A Living Locket that not only reflected the story of MY life but that in doing so turned out to be one of the most stunning pieces of Jewelry I've ever owned!

My Origami Owl Living Locket is now one of my most cherished pieces; isn't it just beautiful?

Another thing I love about the Origami Owl Living Lockets is that you can change your lockets look from day to day. The locket face opens right up and you can take out the charms inside and or add in new ones. New day, new look. Like I mentioned before the Origami Owl Lockets are 100% customizable to your look/mood.

Make Breast Feeding a Breeze With the Utterly Yours Breast Pillow Review

These days it seems like my life revolves around Breast Feeding. I eat, sleep, breathe and live it.

I know my girlfriends and family are skeptical when I say that I have almost no free time since Desi has been born. Well its true; one of my girls is always attached to the breast. I was sent a Seamless Bralette Nursing Bra and Washable Nursing Pads from Leading Lady's Loving Moments Collection to review and its really no surprise but I love it.

 

As most of my readers know I'm a Mama of two beautiful little girls, Sophia age 2 and Desmond aka little Desi Lynn who is now 3 months; both are breastfed. Sophie was exclusively breastfed until she moved onto 'real' food but even now after Desi has been born she continues to breastfeed. With that being said I'm sure you can imagine how much of a task breastfeeding has become; one is always latched while the other is clamoring for my attention/her turn. Thank goodness we have two, no?

With that little snippet of information out of the way lets just say that with two babies on the breast I'm constantly on the lookout for anything that will make my life just a little easier which is why I love, love, love nursing bra's.

I'm always looking for comfort above all else and of course, good fit so when I first tried on my Seamless Bralette by Leading Lady I was very pleased with the comfort level and fit I found. I'm a girl with a larger bust so fit is always tricky but with the Bralette being constructed from 'soft, flexible Santoni' there haven't been any fit issues.

Another thing I've always had an issue with while in the market for Nursing Bras has been that annoying band they always seem to have. You know the one, it fits right underneath your chest area, that no matter how hard you wish it'd stay put, always ends up bunched/rolled up and usually itches the heck out of you.

The Seamless Bralette by Leading Lady hasn't given me half of the problems my other Nursing Bra's have and did I mention how comfortable it is? I can wear it anywhere and while doing just about anything, never having to worry about being itchy or uncomfortable.

Nursing has been made simple and easy with the Bralette. My favorite part, as with most nursing bra's I have, is the easy accessibility made possible by the One-Handed clasp at the top of the bra strap.

TvStoreOnline Fangtasia T-Shirt Review

 If we're going to be entirely honest I'd like to admit to being horribly picky about my clothes. More specifically I'm picky about my shirts. If the fabric of the shirt I'm debating on has scratchy material or isn't breathable I'm sure as heck not going to wear it. Even in the winter months I prefer light material that doesn't heat up easily and that is also comfortable enough for any occasion.

This can be said especially for my sleepwear. I'm an over-sized shirt and shorts type of gal when it comes to my pajamas. I'm always super stoked to find a light, comfortable fitting outfit to wear to bed and wasn't disappointed last month when I found The perfect sleep shirt

I've had more than one person stop me while out and about to compliment me on the shirt.

It is true to the size listed so in my case the XXL I ordered was very large, which works for me since I like bigger clothes especially for nightwear, and did eventually shrink a little in the wash. If shrinkage is something you worry about its no worries, simply order the next size up from what you actually want and you're all set to go.
