Krave Jerky Review and 5pk Sampler Giveaway! US 7/23

It can be kind of tough being one of two Carnivores in a household of Vegans/Vegetarians; in-fact I should just say its a constant battle for my family: Carnivores vs. Vegans. The Vegans try to sell us on their way of life and we Carnivores mainly ignore them and continue stuffing our faces with more meat.

One of the many reasons I could never give up meat is Jerky. Beef, Pork, Turkey, it doesn't matter I love them all and couldn't bear the thought of giving them up! I love the intense saltiness and juicy meat flavor in a bag of good Jerky so when I was given the green light to review for Krave's Gourmet Jerky I was in 7th Heaven.

To help facilitate this review I was sent a sampler pack of Krave Jerky in 5 of their delicious flavors:

Smoky Grilled Teriyaki Pork Jerky
Garlic Chili Pepper Beef Jerky
Lemon Garlic Turkey Jerky
Pineapple Orange Beef Jerky
Black Cherry Barbecue

When my package arrived from Krave I was expecting the usual humdrum Jerky that many other companies claim as the best but when thinking 'Gourmet' I had no idea how much of a treat their products would be; I was blown away by just the very first bite!

Krave Jerky was so moist and tender I couldn't believe it was really jerky at all. The flavor alone was phenomenal and if I had to choose my favorite(s) out of the entire sampler I'd have to pick Lemon Garlic and Black Cherry Barbecue.

What I love most about Krave jerky, I know I sound like a broken record, is the flavor. The savory flavors aren't overly salted or fatty nor are they that leathery shoe texture most seem to offer but are so moist I had to keep checking the packaging to make sure I was actually enjoying REAL Jerky.

The sweeter Krave products are the same; you don't get cheated by lack of flavor, freshness or texture and at the same time they don't overdue it either. Krave Jerky has found the perfect balance in their Jerky products.
