Show Off Your Festive Spirit with Quilled Creations from TealKat Creations! US 12/18

With Christmas approaching at an alarming rate and the social events that come with it I know that my fellow ladies are in a tither when it comes to your wardrobe and accessories. If you're anything like me then you'll be agonizing over what to wear for an upcoming family gathering, work related party or even Christmas dinner with friends. This time of year it seems like looking our best is more important than usual and I know I can absolutely relate. I have a family dinner coming up with relatives that I only see once a year and although I'm thoroughly unsatisfied with my physical appearance it does mean a lot to me that I look my absolute best! I've recently colored my hair and purchased a new outfit for the occasion. I was feeling pretty confident until I remembered that I had a secret weapon that would surely draw the attention of everyone attending.

I was recently given the chance to work with TealKat Creations to review their products in the Gifts of the Season section of our Holiday Gift Guide and was sent one of their stunning Christmas Paper Quilled Watches to review! When this little beauty arrived in the mail I was beyond thrilled. Isn't it gorgeous?!

Before I start gushing over this fabulous little trinket check out the story behind TealKat Creations:

"TealKat Creations sells its own line of quilling paper, handcrafted projects, and select project materials for paper crafting and quilling.The company started out ten years ago in a weekend craft fair booth, selling finished quillwork, custom quilling services, and supplies. Over the years, its focus shifted to retail sales, specializing in custom work. In 2008, the company relocated to Texas. The business model changed from that of a reseller to a manufacturer of its unique line of quilling paper.

TealKat Creations opened its online storefront in 2013; with a focus to provide the quilling and paper crafting community with quality handmade projects and supplies. The product line includes a subtly textured quilling paper for crafters who prefer a more tactile experience when creating their projects. Also, TealKat Creations is capable of cutting their quilling paper to any width the customer requires.

 The shop is run by Niki Cee and her husband, Scott, who manages the technical aspects of the business. Niki has been quilling and creating custom works since 2004. She has guest blogged for other websites and also has had some of her quilling patterns published. In the past, Niki also taught quilling classes at her local Michaels Arts and Crafts store. Currently, she is a proud member of the North American Quilling Guild and author of TealKat’s Blog.

Niki and Scott believe that handcrafted items have an inherent value that is not found in mass produced products. For paper crafters, this includes the need for high-quality materials to help them complete the very best version of their projects. That is why TealKat Creations continues to explore the quilling and paper crafting landscape in search of new ways to improve and expand its product line."

Created using your standard Watch features, genuine white Leather band, and paintable watch face, Niki adds her own artistic vision to each piece using assorted quilling papers, Swarvoski Crystals and more. I've had the pleasure of enjoying my quilled watch for almost two months now and still can't get over the attention to detail that is so evident; the workmanship is amazing. The end result is an adorable accessory that is sure to a conversation starter at your upcoming seasonal event!
