SafetyTat Review and Giveaway! ENDS 1/30 Open to US!

Disclosure: I received Safety Tat product(s) and information to facilitate and host this review. I received no other compensation for this post and was under no obligation to post a positive review. The opinions contained within, are my own and reflect my experience with the product(s). Your own may be different.

Mothers and Father's everywhere have experienced the protective side of parenting. You hardly ever turn your back on your child for more than two seconds while out in public and watch every stranger that passes by with a wary eye, suspicious eye.

I know how my fellow parents feel because I myself am surrounded by suspicion and paranoia when out and about with our Sophie. If she's not in a cart at the grocery store she's in a stroller. If she's not in a stroller, she's in my or my companions arms. There isn't a second when there isn't eyes on our girl but there comes a point in every parents life when it is necessary to focus our attention elsewhere so its not always possible to keep up the constant watch of our children.

The day will come when your child wanders off by his/herself and you're seized with that moment of panic as you realize you've lost track of your little one. What do you do then? Well, you scramble to locate your baby.

You might run, you might shove and you'll likely start asking strangers if they've seen your kid. You'll struggle to remember what you dressed them in that day so you can describe them to any who cross your path and you'll most likely start calling the child's name in hopes that they'll hear and come running.

If any of these things sound to you like the nightmare they sound like to me, take a deep breath and read on. There are so many ways to help reduce the gripping fears you have when you realize you've lost track of your little one.

One of my favorites?

Safety Tat.

SafetyTat is the epitome of simplistic and when it comes to locating your child, what more could you want? z

Even with the suspicion that you may already know, you might be wondering "well, whats SafetyTat?" SafetyTat is an easy-to-apply, simple invention that allows you to "put the odds in your favor for a safe return" of your missing child; a sticker that you apply to the arm or clothing of your child before an outing.

Having a SafetyTat gives parents peace of mind and can also be fun for sticker-loving children, Sophia being a great example. Although I rarely take my eyes off her or allow her to walk on her own out in public, she LOVES stickers and it would be easy to apply a SafetyTat to her little arm or the front of her shirt. No need to worry about removal with this kid!

SafetyTat comes in 3 different categories: Original, Write-On and for those who like to add your own personal touch, TatBuilder.

Whichever SafetyTat you choose, be prepared to take (some) of the stress out of outings with your little one. Depending on the SafetyTat option you choose, you have the option of either ordering them to include your contact information or writing the information on the Tat yourself.

When doing my review I opted for the Write-On Option and loved how easy it was. I was sent a package of Quick Stick Write-On's for review and wasted no time in getting to work. Luckily for us we had a Grocery trip planned and I was able to start my review just days after receiving my product.

It was literally as easy as 1,2,3. I wrote down my emergency contact information on a SafetyTat, smoothed it over Sophie's arm and for the first time ever, allowed her to walk beside me in the store instead of tucking her away in the shopping cart as was our usual routine.

Thankfully our shopping trip went off without any incidents where the SafetyTat was REALLY needed but I felt slightly more at ease knowing that if an accidental separation occurred, I'd have the aid of SafetyTat.

  3. I keep my kids close...My 10 year old has to hold onto the shopping cart, and my 1 year old rides in the cart or stroller.

  4. I keep my son by my side at all times. I have never let him wander when we are out in public so he has gotton used to always holding my hand or my husbands and he knows to always stay close. I must admit though that, like every other mom, I too fear that in a large crowd he may get lost. This could be a great help if that situation ever arose. If nothing else it at least provides some peace of mind for the parents.

  6. Definitely could use these! My now four year old has been testing her independence lately and although she is always within reach it still scares me.
