Fewer things in life give me greater pleasure than to grab an armful of freshly laundered bedding out of the dryer and inhale its clean scent. I also know that I'm not the only one that rushes through the bed-making process only to immediately sprawl out across the neatly laid sheets; lets be honest, its a guilty pleasure to most of us.

For the last year I've been denied that simple, guilty pleasure as I was cursed with the misfortune of having ill-fitting bedding. My beautiful, creamy yellow sheets didn't quite fit my Queen bed and every time I'd launder them to be placed back on, they'd pop right back off. You can imagine my frustration and devastation as I'm sure I'm not the only one who has experienced this common nuisance that comes from ill-fitting sheets.

On top of not fitting, my sheets had also seen a year of abuse. The fitted sheet had rips in the pockets, there had been too many baby-related accidents to count and they'd been washed so many times they'd become threadbare in places.

I can't tell you how great it was to get in touch with Curtain&Bath Outlet and be approved to write up a review; despite the name they don't just deal in Curtains or Bath supplies.

Upon further inspection of their site, despite my initial interest in their lovely Window Treatments, I was tickled pink to find out they also had an entire section devoted to Bedding.

Guess how fast I jumped on the chance to review one of their Sheet Sets?

In accordance with the color theme I've been working with I decided to go with the Madison Home Collection Set 200ct in Blue.

Upon receiving my product for review I couldn't get the packaging open fast enough and the cycle through the Washer&Dryer seemed to go on for an eternity before I was able to rush my warm, wonderfully fragrant sheets in to my bed.

Now, I'm no expert when it comes to thread count and I know quite a few people who are picky about it but when I finally got every corner on just right and smoothed out the wrinkles, I laid down on my new sheets and swore I was in Heaven.

They fit perfectly too! Keeping my sheets on the bed is no longer a nightly struggle for me despite having myself at 33 weeks pregnant and a restless Toddler, sharing the space.

My overall opinion of these sheets are that they are absolutely wonderful and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for an affordable yet goodquality set of Sheets.

They're comfortable, functional and a lovely color that brings a more homey feeling to any bedroom. Even Sophie loved them; she couldn't wait to get up on the bed and roll around on them!

Lets face it, we all have that handful of topics we can't bring ourselves to address out-loud or make known to the public. To some people talking about menstruation is an absolutely no-no, to others it might be childbirth or certain times of bodily dysfunction. What ever your topic related no-no is, I bet you'd prefer to never have it brought up in mixed company. Right?

If we're going to be honest then I'll be the first to volunteer my no-no topic: Dandruff and/or Psoriasis of the scalp. I've been plagued by the two for many years now and let me tell ya, it's probably one of the most embarrassing things about myself that I'll ever admit. Who wants to admit they suffer from occasional white flakes and horrible, uncontrollable itching accompanied by red, scaley patches on their scalp, I mean really?

Certainly not me, that's for darn sure.

As much as it pains me to reveal such a detail about myself/my hygiene I'm happy to inform everyone, those who may have the same condition and even those who might not, that there IS an easy solution. It took me many, many years to find it but thanks to an older sibling who has the same condition, I can now venture to my nearest grocery store and get quick relief in as little as one shower.

My secret?

T/Gel Theraputic Shampoo by Neutrogena.

I kid you not, the first time I used T/Gel on my scalp I experienced that instant 'ahhh' moment of relief and could feel the effects of the shampoo immediately. If it were me I'd be raising my eyebrows at that and maybe even call b.s but this is no exaggeration folks. Neutrogena even boasts on the front of the box that it "Starts working after just one use."

T/Gel has been my go-to scalp therapy for the last 2 years and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Its such a terrific product and has even been recommended by dermatologists for chronic Scalp Psoriasis, Seborrheic Dermatitis and even common Dandruff. Heck, you can't beat that with a stick and can find reassurance in knowing that if you have one of these scalp related problems, using T/Gel will get you back to a healthier (less itchy, problematic) scalp.

The only downside to Neutrogena's T/Gel is that fact that it can get a little pricey but in the long-run its totally worth the few extra bucks. I've also found a few different ways to make your T/Gel go further:

1. Mix T/Gel half and half with Head&Shoulders (or generic brand) Dandruff Shampoo. Not only does it go further but its also a double whammy against whichever unfortunate ailment you have.

2. Using either Head&Shoulders (again, you can use a generic brand) or another shampoo of your choosing, wash your hair once before applying the T/Gel. Afterwards, you can use an amount slightly larger than a dime to lather into just your scalp..afterall, the problem area is the scalp, not the rest of your hair and this also saves you a good amount of precious T/Gel.

There ya have it folks, a super fast and great way to put a stop to the awful skin condition that ails your poor head. After being a T/Gel user I wouldn't ever recommend another product. Its that freaking good!

Since becoming a Mom in 2011 I've been gradually becoming more conscious of the things I feed my little lady; no HFCS, meat or artificial flavorings when it can be helped. Additionally, I've also become more aware of the things I dress her in, wash her clothes with and most importantly, what I put on her skin or bathe her in.

TruBaby Bubbly Baby Body and Hair Wash is the latest bath-time product I've become familiar with in my product reviewing journey and folks, I've gotta say, its phenomenal. No foul odor, tear-free and its ALL NATURAL.

 Trubaby Bubbly Baby Body and Hair Wash is made by TruKid Natural Skin Care, by a Mother of 6, who like any product conscious Mama out there, set out to find a safe and chemical free product for the precious skin of her little ones. TruKid founder, Jennifer Adams Bunker, centered the creation of her children's products around chemical free and all natural ingredients. No surprise, TruKid had my interest from 'all-natural.'

Our Sophie absolutely adores bath-time; say the words and she's eager to get into the tub. Hand her a cup to play with and she's golden. I opened my brand new bottle of TruBaby Bubbly the night it arrived and started to scrub-a-dub my little one during our usual bath time routine. As she splashed and filled her little cup I paid close attention to the product I was lathering into her hair and skin; the smell was wonderful, the soap gentle on the eyes and easy to apply/rinse from the skin.

I've tried a wide variety of different Shampoo's and Body Washes but none have come close to winning my vote than TruBaby Bubbly baby Body and Hair Wash. Thanks to the wonderful folks at TruKid Natural Skin Care I'm actually enjoying myself during bath time with my toddler, due in part to the comfort of knowing I'm using a safe, natural product on my tots sensitive skin and being soothed by the gentle scent of her Shampoo.

In addition to the TruBaby Shampoo and Body wash I was sent, I was also given the opportunity to review TruKids newest product the Hero Stick.

TruKid's Hero Stick is another great product I'd recommend for anyone who has a rashy baby like myself. Sophie is sensitive to so many things, its not uncommon to do a diaper check and find a fresh rash on her poor bottom. Fruit and dairy are the biggest contributors so finding an alternative to cutting out both entirely was a great relief. Reducing the amount and combining the reduction with the healing power of the Hero Stick has been a blessing here in our home.

While the Hero Stick isn't a cure all or even an instant fix, it works great for us. Heck, after doing my own research online and finding that its also most commonly used on bug bites as well, I decided to smooth a little over a few yucky skeeter bites leftover from a night outside with family and was very pleased to find it had a healing effect on those as well.

There isn't a second when there isn't eyes on our girl but there comes a point in every parents life when it is necessary to focus our attention elsewhere so its not always possible to keep up the constant watch of our children.

The day will come when your child wanders off by his/herself and you're seized with that moment of panic as you realize you've lost track of your little one. What do you do then? Well, you scramble to locate your baby.

You might run, you might shove and you'll likely start asking strangers if they've seen your kid. You'll struggle to remember what you dressed them in that day so you can describe them to any who cross your path and you'll most likely start calling the child's name in hopes that they'll hear and come running.

If any of these things sound to you like the nightmare they sound like to me, take a deep breath and read on. There are so many ways to help reduce the gripping fears you have when you realize you've lost track of your little one.

Having a SafetyTat gives parents peace of mind and can also be fun for sticker-loving children, Sophia being a great example. Although I rarely take my eyes off her or allow her to walk on her own out in public, she LOVES stickers and it would be easy to apply a SafetyTat to her little arm or the front of her shirt. No need to worry about removal with this kid!

When doing my review I opted for the Write-On Option and loved how easy it was. I was sent a package of Quick Stick Write-On's for review and wasted no time in getting to work. Luckily for us we had a Grocery trip planned and I was able to start my review just days after receiving my product.

It was literally as easy as 1,2,3. I wrote down my emergency contact information on a SafetyTat, smoothed it over Sophie's arm and for the first time ever, allowed her to walk beside me in the store instead of tucking her away in the shopping cart as was our usual routine.

Thankfully our shopping trip went off without any incidents where the SafetyTat was REALLY needed but I felt slightly more at ease knowing that if an accidental separation occurred, I'd have the aid of SafetyTat.

Glow in the dark Decals by Dezign With a Z

Ever since finding out I was unexpectedly expecting my second baby one of my main concerns has been the lack of space in our home. Our home is by no means little but there just isn't a room open to use as nursery space. My only available option was to start planning on sharing a room with not one child but two and its been quite an interesting journey.

Part of that journey has been scrambling to convert my open, themeless bedroom into a room suitable and comfortable for 3 different age groups; don't let anybody tell you its a simple transition because its NOT. I've started with the basics which is freeing up as much space as I possibly could to help make room for the new crib and other essential baby items but that hasn't exactly been easy either on limited funds.

After trying in vain to come up with a storage solution I put that dilemma on the back burner and started focusing on the walls. Its been important to me for a long while now to redo my walls and as I thought about the two littles I'd be sharing space with, it became more apparent to me that having them reflect a relaxing, neutral setting was also going to be important.

I began doing research on children's rooms and sharing space and was amazed at how easy DIY-ers made it seem. Honestly, most just threw in some matching beds, splashed a fresh coat of paint on the walls and added on a few gender appealing decals.

That's when it hit me. I'd already had plans to repaint and already had the materials gathered but hadn't given any thought to sprucing up the place with decals. Realizing how clueless I had been I, of course, set out immediately to research different decal companies and was intrigued by one in particular.

Dezign With a Z is host to one of the largest collections of Wall Decals I have ever seen. Not only do they have scores of fantastic decals but they also have an inventory of Wall Mirrors, Wall Clocks, Murals and more!

You have no idea how happy I was, when discussing the possibility of a review, when Dezign With a Z gave me the green light for a product review for their company.

Since I was looking for something to go with the kid friendly environment I was trying to create, I went straight to Dezign With a Z's Kid's Room section. That particular section is divided into three separate parts, Babies, Toddlers and Kids. I looked through each section but couldn't find THE decal I was searching for..I was totally bummed as I continued to browse but shortly after, I came upon the Glow section.

BINGO. They had exactly the type of wall stickers I had been searching for.

Although limited in its selection, the Glow section of Dezign With a Z's site had exactly what I needed.

Within seconds I had decided on the Glow Mini Butterfly Wall Decals and couldn't wait to get my hands on the set of 20 that was being shipped to me for Review. 

Not only are these adorable little creatures a neutral choice for all three of us but they are also unobtrusive throughout the day and fantastic throughout the night. Sophie LOVES pointing each one out to me while we lay down at night and tells me all about them in her unintelligible baby babble until she drifts off to sleep.

I think I've finally hit a home run and these simple yet beautiful wall decals have helped pave the road towards figuring out what comes next in the room decorating process. Dezign With a Z will definitely be getting some of my future business!

Hylands Baby Review and Giveaway! US Ends 1/19

Feeling that all too familiar tickle in your throat or that building pressure in your head? Got a case of the sniffles or feel that old ache coming on? Well, break out the tissues and cough syrup, folks, cause its that time of year again. Its cold and flu season!

Up until this point I'd been very fortunate that our Sophie seemed to escape the usual sickness that plagued our home during the Holidays but much to my chagrin this year, she seems to have come down with it all. Thankfully no throwing up but the runny noses, sore throats and teething have all been very present in our lives since October.

I tried dosing her up with Tylenol to help combat Sophie's symptoms but it seemed ineffective as far as long term treatment went. I was simply at a loss of what to do..

Luckily for me I had just been in touch with Hylands about working with them on a review and giveaway. Within days of speaking with them I had a Hylands Baby gift package sent. I was blown away by the package and its contents. Hylands Baby had sent me their entire Baby care product line, including:

Colic Tablets
Teething Tablets
Teething Gel
Diaper Ointment
Cough Syrup Vitamin C Tablets and Tiny Cold tablets.

How fantastic and just in the nick of time! With the exception of a few products that were sent to me by the Hylands Team, my package contained everything needed to get Sophie on the road to feeling better!

Hylands Cough Syrup helped get us through those long nights when we'd be awoken by terrible coughing fits.

The Teething Gel and Tablets helped with those two teeth Sophie had coming in and reduced the tears/fussiness that came with them.

The Diaper Ointment helped rid us of the awful diaper rashes that had been plaguing my poor baby since her birth in 2011.

I had never been more grateful or relieved in the entire 18 months Sophie had been in our lives and NOTHING had been more helpful than Hylands Baby products. It seemed like just within the first few days of using Hylands Baby products that Sophie was already on the mend, something I unfortunately can't say about our go-to medicine, Tylenol.

Hylands line of Baby products had saved us and now, in January, Sophie is as good as new. No more coughing, running noses or problematic teething!

Aside from saving me from further insanity and helping our sick little one feel better, one of my favorite things about Hylands Baby products is that they're not only safe for the little ones but also a natural alternative to all the yucky, potentially harmful ingredients other medicines host. I avoid medicine whenever I possibly can but Hylands has provided a great, safe, solution to my medicine phobia.

Mom4Life Baby Legs Review and Giveaway! US Ends 1/15

Babies are cute, admit it. There isn't anything about a baby that isn't 'awww' inspiring and everyone knows it, whether they want to admit to it or not.

There are dimples and little fat rolls to admire, slobbery smiles to melt over and chubby cheeks too irresistible not to pinch. Ticklish tummies, cute meaningless baby talk and wide-eyed wonder; these are just a few things that make you crazy with love.

Now if you ask me I'd say each and every one of those traits is to die for but my very favorite thing about babies are their legs. More specifically I'd say that their chunky little thighs are what make me melt and I adore finding anything to draw attention to the pinchable, ticklish rolls found there.

With Sophie I prefer a pair of skinny jeans her Gramma bought her as a newborn. Technically they're dark blue jeggings in a size 6 months but up until recently I've been able to squeeze her chunky 19 month self into them and the accentuation they give to her chunky little legs/thighs just kills me! Unfortunately though she's just about grown out of them and there's a thread lose on the seam of one leg so I've had to begin the search for another avenue to emphasize her cuteness.

I've recently been able to participate in a review for them and was sent the most darling pair of BabyLegs ever to try out for their company. Being from the country myself is it any surprise what style I chose to have them send my way?

I loved the Red Bandana pattern of these Babylegs or Baby Leggings but Sophie was harder to impress. If she doesn't have to wear them and can carry them around with her, drape them around the cats&dogs and wrap her baby up in them she's good to go but Mommies obsession with her thick little legs is simply not tolerated for long.

Le sigh..

On the upside Baby Legs aren't just for little girls but come in a variety of styles suited for those little guys in your life too! The founder of Mom4Life has 4 children, three boys and one girl, ranging from ages 1 1/2 to 9, who  LOVE these adorable creations so its no stretch to say I'm sure yours will too.
